TabTrade — The Short Version
Tab Trade launched in Q1 2026. Online broker incorporated in Saint Lucia, regulated by the FSRA. The person who started it is Benjamin Boulter. Previously, he was a senior exec at BlackBull Markets, a well-known broker.
The BlackBull connection matters. It suggests the person running this has actually done this before. That is not a guarantee. It is better than a random name you cannot trace.
They launched with execution through Equinix servers. Same infrastructure prime brokers run on. Most new brokers focuses on ads and sign-up promos. TabTrade did the opposite. Not the typical playbook.
Market coverage: forex, stock indices, gold, silver, oil, energies, softs, shares, crypto, ETFs. 1,000+. For something this new, that range is solid.
The Software
Available: MT5, cTrader, and a WebTrader. Both platforms from a single account. Many pick one platform. Getting both makes a difference. You are not locked into one.
MT5 is the industry standard. Full charting, EAs, tons of scripts and indicators. If you know MetaTrader before, it is familiar territory.
cTrader is the more modern one. Better depth of market. Smoother chart interaction. Native automated trading. Plenty of traders like it better than MT5 after comparing.
Direct FIX connectivity is offered for automated strategies but needs the VIP tier ($25,000 to open). TradingView charting is said to be on the roadmap. That will round things out when it arrives.
Costs
Three levels: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard. 1.0 pip spreads. No commission. Simple. No minimum deposit. Suits people who want simple pricing.
Edge. Raw spreads from 0.0 pips on average. Flat commission of $3.50 per side. What you actually pay: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On EUR/USD, the actual interbank spread is frequently under 0.2 pips. Meaning your real cost sometimes sits below 0.5 pips. That is cheap for an offshore broker. Most platforms that have spreads this tight require a minimum deposit. This broker has no minimum.
VIP. $25,000 deposit required. FIX API, sub-20ms execution, negotiated fees. Not for typical accounts. Skip it unless you trade institutionally.
Infrastructure
The execution is where TabTrade separates from most new launches. Equinix LD4/LD5. Execution below 30 milliseconds on Edge. Below 20ms on VIP. Those are proper execution targets. The average platform quote a much wider range.
Does it matter? For short-term trading, it does. The gap between fast execution and sluggish execution is the difference between. If you trade higher timeframes, it matters less. What matters is the infrastructure is there. That says they are not cutting corners on the tech.
Put together those fill times with raw spreads at $3.50 per side and the overall offering is strong. Few brokers at this price point have infrastructure at this level.
Safety
Here is the thing that requires honesty. Tab Trade is licensed by Saint Lucia's FSRA. That is tier-3. No ASIC. No government-backed safety net. If the lack of tier-1 regulation makes you uncomfortable, this broker is not for you. Plenty of tier-1 alternatives out there.
However. The founder built his career at BlackBull Markets, a proper broker. The server placement is not cheap. Fly-by-night platforms do not invest in tier-1 data centre access. None of this guarantee anything. It should be part of how you think about it.
What you are accepting: no FCA or ASIC safety net. For that: 1:1000 leverage, cheap spreads, no minimum deposit, fast fills. Whether this deal works comes down to your priorities.
Deposit Bonus
TabTrade has a welcome bonus of up to $2,000. Standard welcome offer. You put money in, they top up your balance. The normal fine print: turnover conditions before you can withdraw the bonus. Review the fine print before you deposit.
