TabTrade — The Short Version
Tab Trade launched in Q1 2026. Online broker registered in Saint Lucia, licensed through Saint Lucia's FSRA. The guy behind it is Benjamin Boulter. Before this, he was on the executive team at BlackBull Markets, a FMA-regulated broker.
His background is relevant. It says the founder has actually done this before. That is not a guarantee. But preferable to someone with no brokerage experience.
The broker opened with Equinix LD4/LD5 connectivity. Same facilities institutional desks use. Most new brokers focuses on ads and sign-up promos. Tab Trade led with infrastructure. Interesting choice.
Market coverage: forex, stock indices, metals, commodities, stock CFDs, crypto, ETFs. A wide spread. For a platform this new, that range is solid.
What You Trade On
Available: MetaTrader 5, cTrader, and a WebTrader. Two major platforms from a single account. Many only give you one or the other. Having both matters. You are not locked into one.
MetaTrader 5 is the default. Complete charts, Expert Advisors, massive community. If you have used MT4 or MT5 before, there are no surprises.
cTrader is the more modern one. Better depth of market. Faster charting. cBot support. Many people find it more natural once they try it.
FIX API is there for bots but is only on the VIP tier ($25,000 to open). TradingView is apparently in the works. That would be a good addition when it arrives.
Costs
Three levels: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard. 1.0 pip spreads. Commission-free. Straightforward. No minimum deposit. Suits beginners.
Edge. Interbank-style spreads from 0.0 pips on average. Commission of $3.50 per side. All-in: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On majors, the actual interbank spread is frequently under 0.2 pips. Meaning your actual cost per trade can be under half a pip. That is good for a broker with no minimum deposit. Most platforms that have spreads this tight want $500 or more to open. This broker does not.
VIP account. $25k to open. FIX API, execution under 20ms, tailored rates. Not for typical accounts. Do not worry about it unless you trade institutionally.
How Fast Are the Fills
The execution is the thing Tab Trade actually does something different. Equinix LD4/LD5. Sub-30ms execution on Edge. Under 20ms on VIP. That is proper execution targets. The average platform quote 100ms to 300ms.
Should you care? For short-term trading, it does. The gap between fast execution and sluggish execution is the difference between. If you trade higher timeframes, it matters less. But the fact that the setup is serious. That signals something about priorities.
Combine those fill times with the Edge account pricing and what you get holds up. Few brokers with no minimum deposit offer execution like this.
Safety
Now, the detail you need to be straight about. Tab Trade is licensed by the Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Saint Lucia. That is offshore. No FCA. No investor compensation scheme. If that makes you uncomfortable, this broker is not for you. Lots of tier-1 alternatives out there.
But. The founder built his career at BlackBull Markets, an FMA-regulated broker. The Equinix infrastructure is expensive. Fly-by-night platforms do not bother with tier-1 data centre access. None of this guarantee anything. But inform your assessment.
The deal: no FCA or ASIC safety net. For that: 1:1000 leverage, cheap spreads, $0 to start, Equinix execution. Whether this deal makes sense depends on you.
Welcome Offer
TabTrade has a welcome bonus of up to two thousand dollars. Typical deposit match. You deposit, the broker credit extra capital. Usual conditions attached: trading volume requirements before bonus funds can be taken out. Check the terms before funding.
